In the UK, there has been a whopping 350% rise in the number of vegans and is now considered as the fastest growing lifestyle as per recent survey by the Vegan Society.

While the number of those joining the veganism lifestyle is undoubtedly increasing, with some people opting for the diet to loose weight, there are some who end up abandoning it.

In a study performed by the Humane Research Council involving 11, 400 US adults, about 70% failed to stick to the diet while the rest remains successful in keeping it up. So, what made them do well and why did others fail? Here are the top reasons.

Turning your entire diet around cannot happen overnight. People who do well as vegans did not wake up one day and simply embraced veganism instantly.

For instance, some people started off as ‘Flexitarians’ or those who started adopting plant-based diet but with the inclusion of occasional meat.
